Juventus to include Almiron in bid for Sampdoria's Cassano

Juventus have taken Sebastian Giovinco off the table as they continue negotiations with Sampdoria for striker Antonio Cassano.

Juve are eager to strike terms early in order to see off rivals Inter Milan, but after initially indicating a willingness to include Giovinco in their offer, that option has now been ruled out, says Tuttosport.

Instead, the Bianconeri are expected to offer Sergio Almiron, who is currently on-loan at Fiorentina. Samp remain keen, particularly with skipper Angelo Palombo a transfer target for bigger Serie A clubs.

if Juve want to temp Sampdoria to sell Cassano then they must include Giovinco or at least Iaquinta in the bid

btw i was referrin to Sampdoria not Juventus
i said Sampdoria may agree 2 sell Cassano only if Giovinco or Iaquinta r included , if Juve doesnt agree it's ok Sampdoria will keep Cassano then , why should they sell him

Juventus have agreed a part-exchange deal with Sampdoria for Antonio Cassano, according to Italian Press reports.

The Old Lady have admitted that they are tracking the fiery former Real Madrid hitman.

While Doria are determined to keep hold of their prized asset, it seems that the wheels may be in motion for a move.

According to Tuttosport, a recent meeting between Juve patron John Elkann and Samp chief Riccardo Garrone saw positive steps forward.

The Turin-based paper claims that Juve will send midfield flop Sergio Almiron to Marassi as part of a big-money deal.

It had been suggested that starlet Sebastian Giovinco could be used as a bargaining chip, but it seems that the Bianconeri have ruled out his departure.

As a result, the fee could be sizeable with some sources predicting a figure around the £15m mark.

Almiron is an Argentinia Centre Midfielder whom Juve bought last season from Empoli , failed in his 1st half of the season so he was loaned to FC Monaco in France during the winter transfer market and then loaned again to Fiorentina at the begginin of this season and he still plays with Fiorentina , not as a starter though.
