    The Reds will reportedly dish out over €106.3 million to land the trio in the summer...

    According to a report in the British tabloid The Sunday Mirror, Liverpool are preparing to launch a triple end-of-season offer for Aston Villa's Gareth Barry, and Valencia duo David Villa and David Silva.

    Apparently, the Reds' American owners are ready to back their manager Rafa Benitez with €106.3 million (£100m) in order to land the transfer targets.

    It is also claimed that should the Spaniard decide to cash-in on any of his squad members at Anfield, he will be allowed to invest those funds in new acquisitions.

    It is thought that Benitez has also identified Wigan Athletic's right-sided winger Antonio Valencia, although recent speculation has linked the Ecuador international with a move to Manchester United.

    WOW ! TOUGH WISH-LIST I THINK 2/3 WOULD BE GREAT.
    BARRY IS THE EASIEST AMONG THEM CAUSE HE SAID THAT HE WOULD LEAVE IF THEY DONT QUALIFY FIR THE CL AND THAT LOOKS VERY TOUGH RIGHT NOW.

    I GUESS BENITEZ WONT STOP UNTIL THE 10 MEN ON THE PITCH ARE ALL FROM SPAIN !

    Rafael Benitez is apparently looking to bring Arjen Robben back to England as he plans his summer spending with Liverpool.

    Having recently signed a new deal at the club, the former Valencia coach is thought to be looking at the future and already wants to build for next season.

    Both AS and Marca, citing English sources, claim that his top priority is Robben, who has been in excellent form for Real Madrid, leading them to within just six points of Barcelona in La Primera.

    The Dutch international joined the Spanish side from Chelsea and whilst he has struggled with injuries, he could be the natural winger than Benitez is after.

    At the moment Liverpool are using both Albert Riera and Dirk Kuyt on the flanks, but suffice to say that - despite their recent productivity in front of goal - neither appear to have the speed and trickery of Robben.

    According to the Daily Star, Benitez will have around £30 million to spend next summer and he could well make a bid of around £20 million for Robben.

    The problems with him leaving Real Madrid are clear though: firstly; the club would be reluctant to sell the winger due to his sparkling form and secondly; with a new president coming in, it would surely be foolhardy to sell one of the best players to a European rival.

    Even at the price of £20 million it seems highly unlikely that Real Madrid would be tempted as Robben has become one of their most important players this season.

    of course well not get the 4 players at least 1 will come and benitez might surprise us with 4 more of his weird but effective signings.. even 2 from these 4 is not impossible.

    i still remember him talkin about Torres - Keane partnership as the best in EPL comparin them to Cole n Yorke n other legends

    well they paid 14 million...so this means 6 millionn for 3 or 4 month on average of 1.5 or 2 million a month...

    benetiz have always failed in his transfers and will always do...
    he has never signed a good player (apart from torres and mascherano) compared to the other managers of the top 4... his transfers are ridiculous and stupid..
    buying players like degen ,dossena and ngog...
    thats just stupid which shows how bad he is in the transfer market..

    and i dont believe that liverpool have the funds to buy silva or villa
    maybe barry (which would be a very bad move btw seeing that he has gerrard, alonso and mascherano who r all better than barry play at the same position)
    overall... benetiz is fucked up rly bad!

    i cant agree with you cause first of all you forgot to mention skrtel and agger and aurelio and he also got lucas and he is trying to get barry cause alonso is maybe leaving liverpool. and i hate ngog but the player is still very young and we dont know what he can do.
    and u forgot that dossena scored 2 wonderful goals.. lol! lol!
    and degen has been injured all season.. and everyone makes fun of liverpools defence all the time cause if you compare them to another big team`s defence they are the worst ( apart from arsenal ) but we all know what he can do with this defence and how it is really strong.
