Inter are preparing a summer swoop for Udinese striking star Fabio Quagliarella, the latest reports claim.
The Italian champions are cruising towards another Scudetto triumph, but they failed to deliver in Europe this term.
President Massimo Moratti is expected to invest heavily at the end of the current campaign and he is known to admire Quagliarella.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Moratti is ready to part with around £12m to bring Quagliarella to San Siro as a replacement for Adriano.
Colombian defender Nelson Rivas may be used as a bargaining chip in a part-exchange deal.
Quagliarella is currently under contract at Udinese until 2012 and earns around £1m per season.
Juventus may offer competition for the Neapolitan ace's signature as they look for the next David Trezeguet.
